Back in 1984 there was just Jennie and a desire to get on. To be honest she had no idea what she was doing! She had no cleaning industry experience, had never run a company before or employed staff. She also had very little money. But somehow she seemed to understand how the service should work and how to look after and treat her staff. One way or another through a bit of luck, a lot of skill and a mountain of hardwork Spick and Span has grown into one of Chester most successful cleaning companies.
These days Spick and Span employs over 80 staff, most stay for a long time, the longest standing being 17 years and the same can be said for the customers as well with one starting back in 1986, 24 years ago.
